Who can apply
If you are interested to being part of an exciting and enriching virtual program this summer, apply to Step Up Virtual! We welcome high school students in Canada from grade 9 to grade 12.

MEET THE 2022 PROGRAM ASSISTANTS
Melissa
My name is Melissa, I am a former teacher and I am currently an ECE (Early Childhood Education) student at Seneca College. I love to watch children blossom into their own and attain their goals.
Through my experience and knowledge gained I hope to one day make a difference in the world and I am excited to be apart of Step Up Virtual and share with you all the program has to offer.
My name is Warda Baazi Omar, I am a current Seneca college student studying Early Childhood Education and working towards to pursuing my degree in Child Development.
Growing up there weren’t many community or educational opportunities such as Step up virtual, and I think it’s very important that we have these opportunities for students to create and develop skills moving forward to be able to set up opportunities for themselves to reach and explore any career path they may desire. It's important to open up spaces for the youth and anyone who is willing to contribute. I know I would’ve definitely loved to have an opportunity such as Step Up Virtual when I was in high school.
I am very excited to be a part of such a wonderful program and I look forward to meeting everyone.

My name is Parmiss and I will be going into first year at UGH for ECS (Early Childhood Studies). As an alumnus of the program I'm super excited to be part of the PA team this year and help expand the SUV family by providing support to students to set and attain their goals <:)
This program was a great experience for me and helped me enter grade 12 with a set of new skills that continue to help me everyday!
I look forward to meeting you all and growing alongside you throughout July! :)
